The Honda 0 Series marks a strategic move, with plans to introduce a model based on the Saloon concept in North America in 2026, followed by releases in Japan, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and South America. A crucial aspect of this unveiling is the introduction of a new H mark logo, exclusive to next-generation EV models.
Toshihiro Mibe, Global CEO of Honda, emphasized a departure from the conventional trend of "thick, heavy, but smart" electric vehicles, expressing a commitment to creating a novel value based on the principles of "thin, light, and wise."

The global debut featured two electrified concept models, the Saloon and Space-Hub, developed with a new Honda electrification design and engineering approach. Shinji Aoyama, Global EVP of Honda, highlighted the series' bold and pure proportions, differentiating it from other EVs.
Saloon, the flagship model, sits on a dedicated EV platform, embodying the "M/M" man maximum/machine minimum packaging concept. It boasts sustainable materials, a spacious interior, and innovative features such as steer-by-wire and motion control management systems. A production vehicle based on the Saloon concept is expected in North America in 2026.
The Space-Hub model focuses on augmenting people's daily lives with a spacious cabin and excellent visibility, serving as a versatile "hub" connecting individuals to each other and the outside world.
Alongside the concept models, Honda introduced a new global EV series, Honda 0 Series, set to redefine electrified vehicles. The series is guided by core principles: Thin, Light, and Wise, challenging traditional constraints and incorporating Honda's engineering philosophies. The series will encompass advancements in design, automated driving, connected technologies, performance, and battery efficiency.

The series will feature an advanced driver-assistive system (ADAS) and automated driving (AD) features, with a focus on safety, incorporating AI, sensing, recognition, and driver monitoring technologies.
Connected technologies will be a hallmark of the Honda 0 Series, with an original operating system utilizing AI to enhance the ownership experience and provide information about surrounding areas.
In pursuit of enhanced aerodynamics performance, Honda will leverage its motorsports expertise, including Formula 1 racing, to offer a sporty driving experience with the Honda 0 Series models. The series will also prioritize battery efficiency, with e-Axles and a high-density battery offering ample range and minimal degradation over time.
